I was visiting Pittsburgh and I went to this salon based on the past review, and I'm sorry I did! While it is a cute place and it's a great idea to have a nail file kit for each customer, I did not feel like they were top notch at all.
I was able to walk in, which is usually a plus for me. There were two women working, so I had a man do my nails. This is not a new concept to me, but he had little to no experience, in my opinion. He did not speak very good English, he spelled my name wrong when he created my file kit (I had signed in, and my hand writing was clear) and he did not seem to understand the instructions I gave him. He gave me a very mild manicure. He hardly pushed my cuticles back and when he was putting lotion on my hands it felt like he was afraid to touch me. His hands were also a bit rough and not comforting at all. My 3 year old could have polished my nails better than he did. My tab was not a lot, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the service I received. I'm almost embarrassed to go to the event I'm in town for, for fear that people will notice my crappy polish.
If I had it to do all over again, I'd go some where else.
