Okay So I got a ticket for rolling through a stop sign, something I totally deserved a ticket for. I thanked the officer and told him have a safe night.
So I get a ticket, for 25.00$ plus 110$ of stuff. Including 7.00$ to pay the ticket, which just adds insult to injury, but let me get to the point.
I went to pay my ticket the next day. I got there at 4:40, 20 minutes before close. Which was great when I was informed that they don`t take payment after 4:30. Which makes total sense, since I`m dropping off a check and a ticket that I`m not fighting. Why do they need 30 minutes to file a check, and why can`t the hold my check until the next day to process it? This makes no sense, and I was deeply confused when I could mail it in, but not drop it off? so if it arrives in an envelope it`s magically okay, but the fact that I`m there in person is not?
Another case of competence in government, I`m happy that I could pay 135$ to support this system :-D
