This practice is a horrible representation of what care should be. They have refused to see my children due to my mother canceling our appointment. She explained to them that someone could not bring my son because I had been admitted into the hospital with complications with my lupus. The office manager was very nasty and said she did not want “our kind” coming to that office. I’m sorry, what kind is that exactly? When I called they had no problem repeating the same offensive comment. They lied and said they saw my husband with my son arrive to the office when my husband was on his way to the hospital and my son was with my mother. Additionally, my mother had called long before the appointment to cancel. I have since reported this practice to health partners and independence blue cross for profiling and discrimination. Good reviews make no difference if they are only selecting a certain “kind” of patient to see. For this reason I would recommend you search for a different “kind” of practitioner.
