With his exceptional talent he used the ANTERIOR approach and my experience could not have been better. I did not need any pain medication at all. I was walking four hours after waking up, I was off the walker in nine days, driving in three weeks, swimming in four weeks and back in my office in five weeks.
The first rate team in his office, in the OR, and at Presbyterian would impress anyone seeking excellence. Every person I met has been smart, responsive and very kind. My case may be exceptional, but I can truthfully say that my pain level was zero. I am about 100 days post-op and I am swimming 6 miles a week, biking 12 miles at a clip, walking 3 quick miles on the treadmill, and I can cross my legs again!
