This is my 2nd winter with a coop tender model CT-001. I live in NY state and yes it snows and there is humidity. The wood warps with high humidity. The nut is poorly secured to the wood and pulls out, not allowing the door to open.. Support is understanding and patient. This is what merits the 3 stars. There is a huge learning curve for the controls.
I do recommend a roof above it to help keep the rain off it. If this were made of metal it would be problem free.
