I replaced an existing above ground pool in my yard with the same exact size pool so no excavation was required. Sand and stone were already in the lot where the pool was to be installed. I was told by John, the sales manager, that I would qualify for a reimbursement for having sand, stone, and the lot already being excavated. So after everything was said and done I receive a check for $220 out of $4,282.40 for installation. $242.40 of the installation was 6% sales tax. I felt like I was ripped off for paying for installation that 50% of the labor was already done. They also left a huge pile of sand in my yard that would've been extra money to get rid of.
