Wow, talk about absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service! I will start out by saying that I order from Dominions ALL THE TIME. I mean, I order way too much, if I'm being honest - haha. My coworkers and I order food every single time that I work, and we have done so for the past 4 years, so this place has gotten tons of business from both myself and multiple people that I work with. Well, tonight, I called in for a late-night delivery (like I ALWAYS do - I work 12-hour shifts, so I try to eat as late as possible so that I won't get hungry). When I called in, I was placed on hold. This happens every time, but I'm okay with it, because I totally understand that they're busy, and my calls are generally picked up within 5-7 minutes (still a long time, but again, I get it). Tonight, my call was left on hold for 17 minutes and 47 seconds before someone finally picked up!! I, of course, had missed the delivery window by this time due to the extremely long hold time. The woman on the phone, Katie, was EXTREMELY rude. She said (I wrote it down while we were on the phone so that I wouldn't forget/misquote), "If you don't like it, you can just talk to my boss. I don't have time for this." Mind you, I order fairly late every time, and we are less than a block away from the restaurant, AND I tip well, so it wouldn't have been a big hassle to deliver food to us, especially since I had called prior to the delivery time ending, and they just left me on hold for an absurdly long period of time! I am not allowed to leave my place of employment to pick up food from anywhere, so I now have a long 8 hours ahead of me of being hungry. I just wish more establishments put greater emphasis on good customer service! Why work in the industry if you don't want to deal with customers in a respectful (and timely) manner?
