I had been with Trappe family practice for 7 years. Dr. Tiburcio is fine if your issue is very generic and simple. However when the issue goes beyond that then she is out of her element. I was struck by a moving vehicle and fell to the ground. I thought I was ok. I went to her office just in case and she did a very quick look over of my the brusiing on my sides and issued me some kind of tylonol. The next day I was having problems breathing and it turned out I had cracked ribs and the Er room said with the bruising I had needed to be checked for kidney injury. Then about a month later I started to have stomach pains, headaches and constantly having to go the bathroom and severe lower back pains. Dr T. sent me all over for tests and urine samples and to gynocologists and MRI's. My records clearly indicate I had Graves disease in my past but this seemed to miss her radar. I finally had enough after a year of pointless tests and getting now where. I went to a different practice and on that first day at the new doctor's office, they suspected I had a problem with my paraglands. It turned out they were 100 percent right and I had surgery and I am totally 100 percent fine today. How did Dr Turburcio not figure this out?The new doctor , my very first visit, asked me about 10 questions and looked at my history and said "please go see the endo cronologist" and then she ordered calcium tests for me. I asked her how she knew and she said " your gland history and the fact you are having some of the symptoms classic to a paragland problem." My other issue is that this office either double books appointment times or has more patients then they can handle because they never see you at your appointed time.Ever. There have been times my appointment was at 10am and by 11am I was still sitting there and had to leave to go back to work. I think the practice is just too busy and rushed to provide the services they need to provide.
