I've stayed here twice while kayak camping down the Delaware. Both trips have been off peak (weekday in early September after Labor Day).
The first time I was search for place to stay while I floated down the Delaware. I was near Dingman's Ferry and got mobile signal. They provide me good directions and ensured me that I had a spot for the night. When I arrived they had nice river front spot for me and the owner helped me carry my kayak up the embankment to the site which was really helpful after paddling 38 miles that day. I was there on Thursday night and it was very quiet. The nice hot shower was appreciated and helped me avoid complaints when I was picked up at Frenchtown the next day. Also, the owner gave me guidance on getting through Foul Rift the next day.
My second visit was equally enjoyable. We had great river front site (Wednesday) and the campground was pretty vacant. Bathrooms and showers were great.
I plan my layovers on the river so I can stay here. I am cognizant that pass through kayak campers can't be their main business and would not expect single night weekend stay during the summer. This is great campground! I will be back.
