An interesting building constructed by an interesting person. Not great quality by construction standards, but certainly worth a visit. I bet the owner was a very interesting person. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. A bit pricey. Not a good place for those with physical disabilities due to 30+ stairs, some of which are narrow. (Unavoidable in this historic home). Free parking. Not crowded.
What an amazing place, like nothing I've ever seen before. Brian our guide was absolutely great, full of knowledge and tells a story as if he lived it. Worth the trip, ohh best to do the combo and see the Mercer museum also.
