Butler-Freeport Community Trail

Excellent trail for hiking or biking. Expired railway route restored for the community. Its is wooded, private and follows along the buffalo creek. You will find yourself in a valley surround by steep hills and mountain steams tributing to the creek. Buffalo valley is also know for its migratory birds. The trail crosses over several country roads and each have their own parking area. This allows for shorter trips on different sections of the trail.

Nice, easy trail. We biked 20 (round trip) miles of it, starting in Freeport the other day, but I've been on it multiple times. And it is always quite pleasant.
