Our daughter spent 3 months inpatient as an infant, following a tracheostomy placement due to trachial stenosis when born 14 weeks premature. My husband and I were an active part of her care team. There, the nurses, doctors, and therapists taught us how to care for our trach baby, her ventilator, trach, feeding tube, so that we could finally bring her home. Today, she is a thriving, growing almost 3 year old. Without a doubt, she would not be as far along as she is without the incredible care team that cared for our daughter and served as mentors and coaches to my husband and me. Top notch care not only for our daughter, but also for us. Incredible people that thankfully for us will always be a valued part of our lives. I would hands down recommend Good Shepherd's Inpatient Pediatric Unit to absolutely anyone who may need their services.
