I was sold a broken washer (leaking from the very first use) and told that I have to contact the manfacturer. If this was a smaller appliance I would have taken this back to the store to return it for a new one. I don’t think it should be the customer’s responsibility to deal with the manufacturer when they were sold a broken product to begin with. The item should have been replaced and Home Depot should deal with the warranty issues. I will be purchasing appliances elsewhere in the future.
