Hotel Sofitel Philadelphia

Terrible experience. Being younger they stuffed us in a trash room with a broken heating/cooling system. Had this reserved for a couple of months and you’d think it would be a nice stay for one night at the “4 star” hotel. Complete opposite. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We made a complaint in the morning but they couldn’t even offer a slight reimbursement for valet parking at least. Stay away nothing luxurious about it. Mediocre at best. Not a review guy this is my first one if that tells you anything. Save your money.

The nicest place we have ever stayed! Valet made parking a no-stress event (at the cost of $45 a day, but we were able to leave it parked until 6 PM the following day!) and every single person we came across was delightful. The gentleman at the front in a top hat to facilitate our valet, Robert at the front desk who checked us in, and Miguel at the restaurant stood out and made an impact! I had noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and room service/management left us chocolate covered strawberries and a card even! What a touch! The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable with a great bathroom (even a soaking tub!) and a bed that felt like clouds! Lunch at the restaurant the next day was delicious and Miguel even gave us some pastries to take home! Not one complaint; this place is well worth what we paid and we are contemplating returning every year!
