Nice day with our grandson, feeding ducks and playing in the nice playground. Restaurant is nice, but a couple necessary complaints. I wanted to have the French onion soup with my meal and was willing to pay extra. BUT, no.. I had to pay full price for the soup AND the meal. No reason for that at all. I opted for the tomato bisque. Appetizer took longer to arrive than the meal should have taken. Waiter was unintelligible the entire time. He talked way too fast and mixed up his verbs and nouns. Lots of apologies and excuses, apparently... On the plus side, the tomato bisque was superb, as were the Long Island iced teas. Still waiting for our meals... brb...grilled chicken salad had warm chicken that was not grilled, unless it was frozen afterwards. Disappointing. Not exactry a five-star spot, and it's priced like one. Glad I didn't order anything more expensive here. We're staying here two days, but will definitely NOT come back here tomorrow, unless for a night-cap.
Excellent service. We had steak and crab cakes and everything was cooked to perfection. The martinis are awesome as well. Can't wait to come back.
