I found my new salon! I didn't even realize what I had been missing. With the amazing attention to detail, my hair looks better than I expected! I love the atmosphere and employees. I loved the wash station. Cool chairs. Wonderful head massage during my shampoo. Very reasonable price!

I went to InStyle in search of a Japanese hair straightening treatment, and honestly had a great experience there. I am really shocked at the other reviews that are negative. People need to remember that this is an Asian salon... of course English is not their first language, but everybody speaks hair. No one is being rude to you. The younger girl at the desk was very kind to me - there was a spot my boyfriend could sit with me while I got this done across my chair. I believe the straightening treatment was around $200-250 ish for my length of hair, and I also got it dyed and trimmed... This is the first place that actually trimmed the amount of hair I wanted! Most of the salons I went to go crazy and snip like 5 inches off, ugh. I wish I would have gotten the name of the person who did my hair - his chair is the first on the left when you walk in, but he was very talented! To give an idea of what I wanted done and the breakdown of the experience, I walked in and was greeted for my appointment at noon really fast. I was there from 12pm-5pm for the treatment, dyeing of hair, and the cut. This is to be expected if you want all of this done! I think the total was $330-ish, but I left a pretty big tip (I think it came out to $400). About four different people were helping with the straightening of my hair since I have SO much, expect two people to be working on it for most of the time since they have to straightening a little section of the hair at a time. Anyways, the staff were all very friendly. Just remember if there is a language barrier, there is someone there who will know what you are talking about, and they will get someone there to answer your questions. My hair is really important to me, but I felt like they gave my undivided attention, and I'm extremely happy with the results and for the price! I never really review places either, but I wanted to leave reviews for people who unsure about where to go. I definitely am happy to go back there to get my touch-ups. :) Copy pasted my review from Yelp, since I know people look in both places lol....
