Kirk Simmons represented us in the sale of our home in February 2015. At the time he stated he was the number one seller of homes in Victoria Crossing, the development in which we lived. My husband was offered a job in Florida and we needed our property sold in a timely fashion so we hired him. The property sold and the closing was June 1, 2015 and we left for Florida at the end of May 2015. We were set up to electronically sign the papers at closing. We continued to have questions and every time we called with a question or concern we were diverted to his secretary Lori. Mr. Simmon never returned our calls. In July 2015 we discovered one of our mortgages was not paid in full. We contacted the agency Kirk Simmon worked for and was assured it would be taken care of. It is now February 2018 and we are purchasing a home in Florida. We just came to find out that not only was the mortgage not settled, but they were contacted by Kirk and told it was a short sale. We were told by the bank representative that Kirk Simmon told them it was a short sale and then proceeded to make an arrangement, without our knowledge, to pay a portion of the amount. He did this without informing us or getting our approval or our signatures. Our property sold with sufficient funds to pay off both of the mortgages and we did not agree or sign papers for a short sale. I assure you Mr. Simmon was well paid and received his full commission. We were highly misrepresented by Mr. Simmon. At the present, we are being negatively impacted by his illegal, immoral and unethical actions We have given him sufficient time to fix this and it has not been done. I certainly do not recommend Mr. Simmon to represent anyone and would warn you to check the documents if he has represented you in the past. If I could negative stars I would. I assure you this is a truthful account of our experience with Mr. Simmon.
