Friendly people. Signed up for account; they are fee happy like PNC. But worse. For a basic account, they charge FEES! around $7/mo. unless you post activity. Ok. But even if you do post activity, they charge you then reverse it on your statements every. single. month. You can transfer money in, but if you try transferring money to another bank: FEES! M&T: does not play nice with others. You have to send yourself a check (via snail mail) through their bill pay system then manually deposit at another bank. What a hassle, inefficient, and can't possibly save them any money. Tried depositing a check which I get each month through their mobile deposit system. Nope. Can't do more than $1000 or so per month? Will they raise it? Nope. You have to wait at least 90 days before they think about raising your limit. Tried closing the account with them, but, you guessed it: FEES! You have to keep trudging it out for 6 mos. minimum. What a hassle of a bank.
