Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I don’t usually review restaurants but ever since I got a job in the food industry I’ve felt compelled to give credit when it’s due. I was hesitant because the three hosts stood up front and felt a little judgey as we waited, but once we got seated the waitress named Jordan was very friendly and consistently checked on me and my friends while we ate. Food came quick and was delicious, and I admired how the waitress was able to make sure we had the best experience possible even though she had many other tables. Despite all of this, she took time to converse with us & made us feel very welcomed! Thank you Jordan!

I'm currently standing in line behind 10 other people to pick up a to go-order. The order was placed at 4:30 pm, over an hour ago and it was marked to be ready at 5:50, 10 minutes ago. Why is the restaurant not prepared for the rush they know will have on a holiday? Since when is picking up an order like going to a doctor's appointment where the time is just a suggestion? This is unacceptable and I will go elsewhere next year. *Edited to add that I didn't leave the restaurant with my food until 6:30. The manager said that the online order time was automatic and didn't reflect the true time. He gave me a $30 gift card for my patience. I will return to use the card. I still think having to order an hour ahead of time and then waiting in line for 40 minutes is unacceptable.
