The staff is rude and careless. They would not answer my questions on the phone, causing me to make 3 trips to the store. All because they had a female rat in with the males. After the 3rd trip, I came home with 2 male rats. The next morning, one was dead. I called and they were again rude on the phone and refused to give me a refund, offered the last rat they had at the store if I brought in the dead one. I'm not bringing my daughter back there to endure more. The whole experience has been a nightmare for my family.
I had a very good experience at this store. The young staff member that helped me was very friendly as well as another woman associate that gave me suggestions on what to feed my new pet. I hadn't gone there intentionally to buy a pet, but, noticed that they were the only few places that sold Fancy Rats anymore unless they were feeders. It took me a good hour or so to think about getting a small pet like a Rat and I was much amazed by their health and could tell that they were given some attention and handling. No aggressive behavior and curious to be touched by Human hands after they got more attention, even the more skittish ones were friendly. My only concern was that there were Male and Female Rats together at an age where pregnancy can occur. I watched my Girl (who's name is Angel) for a week or so and thankfully she was not pregnant. I wasn't certain if you'd taken the Babies back or not, but, just be aware of the sexes unless you intentionally do that for breeders that produce their own feeders lol! Angel is very healthy, intelligent, super friendly, and loves eating peanut butter chocolate Ice cream out of a spoon that she handles herself as a treat every once in a while. Thank you for this beautiful creature!
