I bought the car from this dealership last year. I recently received a recall letter, so I contacted the service department for the recall. The first call was on a Monday; I was told I would get a call back when the parts arrive to schedule me in. Then the same week, I called on a Friday to schedule or find out when the part will arrive, and I was told that the part is on back order (keep in mind this is a recall, and I had JUST received a recall letter). So, I waited since I was not sure if they were lying to me. I contacted corporate one month later, and they confirmed that when you receive the letter for a recall, there should not be any backup orders for parts. Corporate open a case for the situation, then when they were contacted by their district manager, they stated that they had several parts in stock now, so they will contact me to schedule an appointment. I ended up calling them to schedule an appointment. Then ON THE DAY of the appointment, I received a call telling me not to come in because the part was not there and they JUST ordered the part that day. Conclusion, I will never buy another Mitsubishi because I will now have to go out of my way to another dealership that is not shady and liars to service the recall. Also, I would recommend never to buy a Mitsubishi if you live in the area or if you don’t mind traveling a bit further for a better service, such as a recall. Throughout the whole problem, I was NEVER contacted by anyone, but corporate case manager shows that the place does not care that they are conducting some shady business.
