Ristenbatt Vacuum

My Meile vacuum hose had a broken electrical connection so the power head for carpets wouldn't work. I ordered a new hose through Ristenbatt's website. David called me the next day (Saturday!!!), to ask what the problem was. When I explained, he said he'd try to see if it was still covered by warranty. I explained that the warranty was past on the hose, but he said Meile had extended the hose warrenty for certain serial numbers because of a known defect. I gave him the serial number, and he said I should get a new hose , free! Clearly Ristenbatt is several cuts above the usual business, forgoing a sale that was already completed, calling the customer, and at least trying to help the customer. There actually are businessmen with great ethics!!! As far as my opinion of Ristenbatt is concerned, it doesn't even matter if Meile comes through or not. Phil B.
