This is one of the bigger parks in York County, and it's conveniently positioned only a few minutes away from the populated east york side and the York Galleria Mall and other shopping areas. The park itself is a hiking park, for the most part, only a field or two, not much flat area. There are a lot of trails to take and I'd recommend going on them all, as each one is pretty different. Most of the trails are pretty challenging and as the name would suggest, rocky, so be careful. The park offers great views as it's positioned atop a hill. Around Christmas, the park offers a lighted walking area filled with colorful Christmas lights, definitely worth it. This park is more for the serious person, not much of a strolling park, and unless your dog likes a challenge, I'd think twice before bringing them. I've seen several people with mountain bikes, so trails are accessible to riders.
Awesome spot for mountain biking, with trails for any experience level, from flat and easy to Rocky and highly technical. Awesome views from a few spots along the trails, too. Best park in the York area for serious mountain biking, IMO.
