They have a nice facility, and marketing, and I am sure they have a very talented woodworker. But if you have an expensive piece of furniture I would not bring it here.
Here's my story:
We had a mishap at one of our jobs, and a $2700 dining room chair's arm was broken. We have never had anything like this happen before, and so we were doubly devastated!
We found this place, and it had many years of experience. I made sure the chair was carefully wrapped and protected when dropping it off. We told them the situation, and that we were willing to pay for an expedited service, since this was for a very special client, and we could not expect payment from our (rather expensive) job until we fixed this issue. The one gentleman said he would see what he could do to accommodate us.
We patiently waited 4 weeks. The chair still had not been looked at, and the main lady refused to take into consideration our circumstances even though I was willing to pay more, and said it would be another few months. (THEIR POLICY: Under no circumstances, will they put any order ahead of an existing order. Unlike most service businesses, they WILL NOT offer any kind of expedited service even with up charging). They feel very strongly about this policy.
I had no choice but to go back, and collect my chair. When I did, I was APPALLED. There was junky wood furniture everywhere, and my expensive piece was thrown in with all of them (something had even fallen on top of it). If I had not wrapped it carefully (lots of plastic, bubble wrap, and towels), they would have wrecked the chair!
Fortunately, I was able to find another amazing and qualified company, who understood my circumstances, and was willing to charge me for an expedited service.
