Select Specialty Hospital - Camp Hill

Do Not Bring Your Family here! My father was recently admitted to select medical on the 5th floor of the Holy Spirit hospital after having open heart surgery. The treatment at Holy Spirit was great which is why we chose to have my father stay on the 5th floor with select medical so he could have some of the same doctors. This however has been a huge mistake. The treatment he is receiving now is sub standard. Some of the nurses are nice and understanding while others are extremely rude and disrespectful. He has to repeatedly hit the call button to get any help and it takes up to 2 hours to get assisted with simple tasks such as sitting up in bed. Multiple occasions he was left sitting in his own filth for over an hour when we came to visit in the mornings. The worst part of this whole experience is my mother and I went to visit my father this morning and we were almost immediately told to leave. They said my 72 year old mother called a nurse an inappropriate name. This goes completely against her character and she would never speak like that to anyone. We were thrown out without even being able to see my dad or say goodbye. Both my father and mother are extremely upset by this. I am absolutely disgusted that anyone would ever treat patients families this way. Please do not take your loved ones here.
