This is the WORST bank I have EVER dealt with. I feel bad for the workers because the corporate culture has a "nickel and dime" mentality. If you ever have a problem and have to call the 800 number, get ready to spend about 40 minutes. An example is the coin machine that you could use for free if you are an account holder, once BB&T bought National Penn you have to pay to convert your coins to paper. My large business account won't release funds from checks I deposit for over 5 days. When I called they said it was a "BB&T policy for protection". When I talked to a local person, she had to make phone calls but magically was able to release my funds. Every step of the way this bank is non-user friendly. There is no local bond whatsoever. I will be moving both my 3 business accounts and family personal account.
