As office manager and Marine Biologist at Trinity’s Reef and also as a female employee at this establishment, I took the accusation of sexual harassment and incompetence very seriously. I have thoroughly investigated the accusation and found that they are false accusations.
I attempted contacted you asking for the details of this alleged incident and received no response. Last week (approximate time of incident according to your review), one of the two owners was away on personal business and the other was working at another place of employment during the day and would come to the shop after, usually in the late afternoon. I was the only other employee in the shop during that time period and was also present in the afternoon last week with the co-owner of the store.
Further investigation revealed that you have not set foot in our establishment, and so could not have had the experience that you have described in your review. Your review was a blatant and malicious act of defamation (Single publication limitation - 42 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 8341). Credible sources have found that you are a frequent customer of another saltwater specialty store called Knock Out Aquatics. Both owners and myself have been friends with the Knock Out Aquatics family for a long time and know that they, like us would not stoop to such a level of unprofessionalism and mudslinging, and therefore we believe that you Ms. Wilkins have acted alone in writing this review. While it is very sad to the Trinity’s Reef Family that you have taken it upon yourself to implement such an act, we would like to invite you to come to the store anytime and truly experience what we have to offer.
Trinity’s Reef Saltwater and Tropical Fish Store LLC, was established by Co-owners Sam and Brian, both of whom were private saltwater aquarium hobbyists with almost 3 decades of combined experience with aquatic systems and marine animal husbandry before opening this store. We greatly appreciate our customers and humbly welcome your honest reviews and insight so that we can better serve you and our community.
