Drove over 20 miles to place a cake order for a special event. The young man who took my order was working the register & politely excused himself two or three times to tend to customers. I told him how fabulous a friend's chocolate cake w raspberry filling had been from his store & how I now had an occasion to order another one. We went over size & shape & decoration & I paid $115 in full to make it easy for a family member to pick up the day before. The cake arrived with green vines & a bluebird skillfully designed on chocolate icing as requested on the date it was ordered for. The following day, we cut it at the peak time of the party & it was a white cake instead of chocolate. While the raspberry filing was delicious the white cake was dry & tasteless & very disappointing. I called & spoke to manager Todd who said he would find out from the employee how this mistake occurred. He said he would call back at 4:30 but I never heard back. I will not go back as it is a distance & not worth it to me under the circumstances. The intake procedure was not adequate to meet my need & the customer service was non-existent.
