Village Diner

Delicious, hometown, diner food. Not a large seating area, and it is a popular destination, at least on a late, lazy, rainy, Sunday morning. It took about 20 minutes for my daughter and I to get seated, food was prepared within 15 minutes or so. The food came out exactly as ordered and tasted great. Waitress was present but not overbearing. The coffee (and I'll admit I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to coffee, roasting my own beans to perfection and grinding them after just 24-48hrs) was actually pretty good. The bathroom left a little to be desired. I can appreciate the need for a small footprint in a tight space and be understanding, but the toilet paper dispenser was broken and the roll that was just left hanging there had easily identifiable brown stains/smears. I still gave 4 stars since everything else was so good. If I get back there soon and the bathroom isn't any better then I'll reduce my rating.
