Weaver's Way is actually an enjoyable grocery experience. Going there makes me realize how little I like going to other grocery stores. I'm a long time customer and member, so I was thrilled when they came to Ambler. I don't use them for every last thing-we get paper goods and cans delivered from Amazon, Target, or Giant depending on who is cheap that week. For fresh produce and meats and dairy Weaver's Way's quality is far above anywhere else and their prices are competitive. The bulk section makes coffee, spices and grain affordable and I've noticed that they brought in some more co-op house brands that are close in price to what I'd get at bigger stores. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and treated far better than at any chain. And all three of those things matter.
Nice selection of quality food items, albeit, pricey. Their business model of being community oriented is wonderful. However, they face an uphill struggle with competitors such as Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Fresh Market. Staff is very friendly as well as helpful without being pushy.
