Chili's Grill & Bar

Came into restaurant for a late lunch early dinner, was not crowded. Our server took our order then went to the table next to is and talked to someone he knew for more than 10 minutes. Our order was in his head not in the system. 45 minutes later I'm still waiting for food, came out before my friends did and was overcooked and rice was dried out. Manager came and spoke with us and comped our check, that was not our goal. I'm a food and beverage manager for a 5 star hotel chain and would not of even complained. This was my second time that I've had bad service and food here and sadly will not be back as I eat out often and though I have many good experiences here the last two have really disappointed me. Menu is great, atmosphere is great....shame.

Went there for happy hour apps which used to be half price. Now there's just a select few to choose from. Premade margarita mix is weak and they will not add additional alcohol to it. You gave to pay extra for a shot to strengthen it . No beer specials The food is ok but tends to be surprisingly inconsistent. Ends up being pretty expensive in the long run for a "happy hour" stop.
