I had a bit of an issue with this company. I called to have a hot water heater thermocouple repaired. There was nothing wrong with the tank itself. I was told when I scheduled the appointment that they would be happy to do the repair and of course would have to look at it first. Ok that’s pretty standard. When the service man (who was very nice) came he informed me they only REPLACE hot water heaters and do NOT repair. At all. I was never told that when I made the appointment and in fact was told the opposite when scheduling. Had I known that I would of course never have scheduled a $50 visit just to find out they don’t do repairs. I called to talk to the managment about making things right and was even willing to pay half of the bill to at least cover the service man’s time which was literally 10 minutes because he couldn’t repair anything due to company policy (but they DID want me to buy a whole new unit of course). I waited two weeks going back and forth trying to get ahold of the appropriate person without getting calls back only to finally be told that they do not offer any kind of refunds on service calls. I was even told when I made my initial complaint that it was indeed their fault and that they should have told me they do not repair hot water heater at all. So in summary if you think you need a hot water heater repaired go elsewhere or else they’ll just charge you a $50 fee to find out the hard way. Got someone else to replace the thermocouple with no issues after this company took my $50 and ran with it. To be fair they probably do good work they came recommended from more than one person BUT I think it’s fair for customers to be aware of my experience.
