The man who works here is not a good business man, and I'm assuming he's the owner as well. First off, he is VERY particular about the way you walk into his store and I've heard stories of him yelling at people for walking down the wrong side of the rope and have witnessed it as well. He is not a very personable person either. I've been in there several times, and you would think he would recognize me enough to start a conversation, or even ask "how are you?"- but nothing. I only get, "what do you want" type of question. He makes it quite obvious that he doesn't care about his customers and just wants to get the job done. I'm also pretty sure the way he makes and holds his produce for acai bowls can be considered unsanitary.
One time when I went to get an acai bowl, he was just finishing up checking out a customer (which is on one end of the room), and I waited at the other where he makes the acai bowls. When he was finally done, he stood at the cashier and yelled, "you need to order down here," when I knew he would have to walk to the end I was at anyway to make my acai bowl. I turned around to the people behind me and their eyes were bugging out of their head in exasperation to what he said. I was so ready to say, I'm sorry who's the customer here? and wanted to walk out at that moment. I ended up staying and finishing my order but was not happy with his service. I haven't returned since because he doesn't treat his customers with respect.
