Grew up in Millersburg & on this island since the 1950’s. Though it is 1/3 the size since we used it extensively for summer picnics, volleyball games, swimming & Fall duck hunting it still has charm. Raised, flat camping area, small secluded cove @ NW upriver side for 6 kayaks, & clean path to camping area, minus fallen old tree. Nice fishing water due west near shore. Last bigger island before the falls below Millersburg. Caught 4 fish 7/25/22 in named area. So happy the River Assoc. upgraded “our” island as a legacy we feel. “The Tobias families!!!

They haven't picked up our garbage in over two months. They keep picking up our neighbors garbage but not ours. We pay the bill for our apartment not our neighbors. I even painted our apartment number on our can in case of confusion but they still didn't pick ours up. My wife has called multiple. Maybe we need to take legal action.

We have gone to Tommy Gun numerous times and have always found their sales staff so friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We always find more than what we came for which is refreshing for these days and the quality of everything we get there is fantastic. They also sponsor great workshops and a great 2A festival each Fall which is very family-friendly. Very pleased.
