Of the Woods Hydrangea and Peony Farm

Stopped in and was greeted by Ed who proceeded to be friendly knowledgeable and helpful and not the lest bit pushy or annoying. He instructed me on how they tag and sell their beautiful plants and then dig them up to prepare them for planting and then advise you how to replant them yourself at your property therefore increasing the plant's survival. He invited my wife and me back to the farm the first of June and the rest of June to see the early,middle, and late blooming Peonies of which we will be doing because there are so many colors, blooms, and sizes to choose from.They have a price list that they hand out that has good prices for the product and services they sell and I was also delighted to learn that they sell potted hosta and ornamental grasses. Your destination is not on the well beaten path ,but the trip there is breath taking and well worth the trip.A definite thumbs up. David Miller
