I have to report the incident happened to me to let everybody know that Wackenhut at Jamison charged customers RIDICULOUSLY.
The ceiling of my condo unit leaked water due to the malfunction of HVAC in the unit above me. Wackenhut was called by the owner above me and the technician came to his unit and fixed the problem. After he was done, I confirmed with him that nothing in my unit was wrong. At the time he friendly came to my unit, opened the AC, wiped some condensation water, turned the sensor off and on. The whole thing was between 5 to 10 minutes.
Guess how much I was charged later? $170!!!!
I argued with them that since there were not any service call or diagnostic fees because those were charged to the unit above, it is ridiculously expensive for a 10 minute job of wiping blotches of water marks and rebooting a sensor. Obviously they ignored my argument and keep sending me the bill. I will pay them but PLEASE:
DON NOT HIRE WACKENHUT!
Update: Called them again and the fee was reduced to $100.
