Ligonier Valley Library

Nice, local library located on the Diamond. Easy to find what you are looking for...helpful staff. I like that the children's section is on the same floor as the main library and computers. Easy to keep an eye on my children if I need to use the internet. Also Wi-fi available. At Christmas time they have a tree decorating event for the children, St. Nick puts trinkets in one of their shoes, Santa visits and there are refreshments. One negative is that it's a little chaotic around the tree and not much organization with the kids. It's all hap hazard. My small son (6 yrs old) got kicked in the back by accident by a child that was older( maybe 10) and too big to be lifted to decorate a higher branch. It was an unnecessary incident that with a little bit of organization and order could have been prevented! Otherwise...no complaints!
