Beautiful grounds. Mature trees and hydrangea make it a beautiful area. Gorgeous headstones. Sad that the oldest, Civil War, tombstones are missing, broken, or worn so badly that they are unreadable. Would be wonderful if students of history or historical societies found a way to give a little extra care to the resting place of these Americans. Maybe those who owe community service could work off their time giving to this lovely place. My husband's great uncle (Civil War soldier) is buried here. We're committed to doing our part but we're 70. Young people, come join us.
